Daydreaming in Paros
Paros has everything you need to spend unforgettable holidays in the Cyclades; beautiful beaches with crystal clear waters, interesting walking paths, delicious local products and flavors and a lively nightlife scene. Spend your days wandering through the small settlements, exploring the inlands or sunbathe on a sandy beach.
Cycladic Charm
The four main villages of Paros Naoussa, Parikia, Lefkes and Marpissa with traditional whitewashed cubic houses, mixed with Venetian architecture and neoclassical mansions, wonderful churches dating from the 15th century and windmills create a stunning sight for the eyes. The Ekantotapyliani Church in Parikia, the legendary church with the hundred doors, a well-preserved monument of the Byzantine era and a notable attraction in the island and the old byzantine path from Lefkes to Prodromos village, also known as “the byzantine route” are definitely something that could not be missed!
Beach Life
Paros comes with endless beach varieties: on the northern tip of the island there's Kolymbithres, famous for bizarre rock formations rubbed smooth by the sand that they are almost lunar, or the windsurfing haven at Chrissi Akti on the south-eastern side, where kite boarders' colorful sails fly across the sky in arching swoops. Many have bamboo thatched umbrellas, little chapels and sleepy taverns where fresh fish come from the sea directly to your plate!
